We had a marvelous, relaxing time. Particularly enjoyed the Waialea Bay Beach with the clear water and interesting snorkeling opportunities. The house is beautifully decorated– very tasteful and in proportion. As it happened, when we arrived, I was reading George Kennan’s Sketches for a Life, and this place reminded me of a passage in which he describes post-war Finland. “Here everything was suddenly neat and cheerful… there was a certain distinctive modern touch.” A truly lovely house and experience.
